Trump Warns Iran Issues
Speaking at the NATO summit in The Hague, U.S. President Donald Trump warned that any attempt by Iran to resume uranium enrichment would trigger another round of American military strikes. Trump Warns Iran.
When a reporter asked whether the U.S. would strike again if Iran rebuilt its enrichment facilities, Trump responded firmly: “Absolutely.”
He added, “The last thing they want to do right now is enrich anything. They’re focused on recovery. They won’t have the bomb, and they won’t enrich.”
Trump Warns Iran about Israel’s Response
Trump praised Israel’s decision to de-escalate after recent hostilities, calling it “a great move.” He noted that both Israel and Iran agreed to a ceasefire because “they both said, ‘Enough.’”
He also complimented Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying, “Bibi should be very proud of himself,” in reference to Israel’s handling of the conflict and its restraint in canceling a major strike planned for the previous day.
On the Ground in Iran: ‘Total Annihilation’
According to Trump, Israeli agents entered Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility shortly after U.S. airstrikes hit the site. “They said it was total annihilation,” he told reporters. “We acted fast. I’m confident they didn’t have time to remove anything.”
U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth backed the president’s remarks, stating, “The bombs landed exactly where they should. It was perfect execution. Fordow was destroyed below ground.”
Ceasefire Holds, But Tensions Remain
Despite the ceasefire agreement, Trump acknowledged minor violations. “Technically, Israel was right,” he said, referring to Iranian rocket fire after the truce took effect. “That was a slight breach.”
Still, Trump expressed optimism about future relations with Tehran. “I think we’ll end up with something resembling a relationship with Iran,” he said, hinting at the possibility of diplomacy after military action.
