Air Strikes Escalate in Day Six of Israel-Iran War Conflict
Missile exchanges between Israel-Iran War entered the sixth day on Wednesday. Explosions were reported in both Tehran and Tel Aviv. The Israeli army stated Iran launched two waves of missiles in the early hours. Meanwhile, Israel instructed civilians in Tehran to evacuate areas near military targets.
Trump’s Warning to Iran
Former U.S. President Donald Trump issued a stern message. He demanded Iran’s “unconditional surrender” and claimed knowledge of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s location. Though he said there was no current plan to target Khamenei, Trump warned that U.S. patience was running out.
“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding,” Trump said on Truth Social.
His statements followed a 90-minute security meeting at the White House. Trump also called Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to discuss the situation.
U.S. Military Movements
The U.S. is sending more fighter jets to the region. Officials confirmed the move is intended for defense, not offense. American forces also helped intercept missiles targeting Israel. Still, Washington has yet to officially enter the war.
Israel-Iran War: Cyber Attacks and Communications Ban
Iran accused Israel of launching a large-scale cyber offensive. In response, Iranian authorities banned officials from using phones or digital devices. Reports say Israeli strikes have killed top Iranian advisers, weakening Tehran’s command structure.
Khamenei’s Regional Power Diminishes
Since the 2023 Hamas attack on Israel, Iran’s influence has waned. Its allied groups in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq have faced heavy Israeli retaliation. Bashar al-Assad, a longtime ally, has also been removed from power.
Israel-Iran War Nuclear Tensions Grow
Israel says Iran was close to completing a nuclear weapon. That claim triggered the current wave of attacks. Iran denies the allegations and insists its nuclear program is peaceful. However, the UN’s nuclear watchdog confirmed that Israeli strikes hit Iran’s Natanz facility.
Despite Israel’s claim of control over Iranian airspace, experts say it cannot fully neutralize nuclear sites like Fordow without U.S. military help.
Civilian Toll and Global Impact
Iran has reported 224 deaths, mostly civilians. Israel says 24 civilians have been killed. Many residents in both nations have been evacuated. Oil prices surged after attacks near the South Pars gas field, the world’s largest, shared by Iran and Qatar.
